The Sweet Home City Council approved a contract for a pavement overlay on Mountain View Road from Ames Creek Road to Cedar Street.
The council voted 6-0, with Councilor Jeff Goodwin absent but arriving later. Voting yes were councilors Marybeth Angulo, Ryan Underwood, Greg Mahler, Mayor Jim Gourley, Dave Trask and Bruce Hobbs.
The winning bidder was North Santiam Paving Co. of Stayton for $137,323.47.
