Student’s threats prompt lockdowns

Sweet Home police are investigating a disturbance at Sweet Home High School Monday morning that prompted officials to lock down the school and the neighboring Sweet Home Boys and Girls Club.

According to Police Chief Jeff Lynn, school employees contacted police at about 9:24 a.m., reporting “a possible threat at the school” involving “verbal comments regarding ‘shooting up’ the school.”
