Jason Redick is organizing a meeting for a new Facebook group, “Sweet Home Community Watch,” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3 in the Cascade Timber Consulting annex to discuss ideas about how the public can help reduce crime in Sweet Home. {more}}
Redick started the group as a way for Sweet Home citizens to share information about crimes in their neighborhoods, a sort of citywide Neighborhood Watch group.
The group includes more than 350 members, and members have been posting information about specific incidents and crimes as well as general discussion about crime and law enforcement.
The Facebook group is closed and requires administrator approval to join.
