1:41 p.m. – Macheala Rose Neilsen, 18, arrested for harassment, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released.
June 8
12:56 a.m. – David Clinton Fox, 45, arrested on narcotics charges by Linn County Sheriff’s office after Sweet Home police terminated a pursuit on Whiskey Butte Road. SHPD will submit a report to district attorney for additional charges.
2:48 a.m. – Caller reported a possibly suicidal subject from Lebanon possibly at Foster Dam. Sweet Home officer located the subject about 30 feet down the west side of the dam on the spillway gates. Rescue assisted, and the subject was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital on a police officer hold for mental evaluation.
12:48 p.m. – Caller reported that her son’s cell phone was stolen while at Sankey Park on Friday. Report taken. Phone valued at $70.
2:08 p.m. – Caller reported an abandoned vehicle was partially blocking driveway, 900 block of Poplar. Vehicle posted for removal.
5:41 p.m. – Caller reported that her wallet was stolen from her front porch, 1200 block of 41st. Report taken. Inside was $140 in cash.
7:32 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles up in a tree, 22nd near the Junior High. When he drove by, they threw berries at his vehicle. Officer counseled juveniles.
8:48 p.m. – Caller reported a male urinating on the side of Circle K, 2405 Main St. Caller did not wish to pursue charges but wanted the male trespassed from the location. Male trespassed.
9:25 p.m. – Caller reported that a male went into Thriftway, 621 Main St., with a dog. He stated it was his service dog. The male was not blind. Officer counseled the man about bringing a dog into stores. The dog was clearly not a service dog.
9:38 p.m. – Caller reported that she may have been scammed over Craigslist, 3500 block of Juniper.
June 7
12:01 a.m. – Large gathering in parking lot, and tempers were flaring, 1200 block of 12th. All parties involved left before officers arrived.
2:16 a.m. – Caller reported a small group fighting, 12th and Kalmia. There was some physical contact, but no one wanted to pursue charges. Parties separated.
7:34 a.m. – Caller reported seeing smoke from the area of 10th Avenue and the railroad. Officer responded and contacted multiple people. All advised of private property and were trespassed. They were given one hour to collect their belongings and be on their way. Marijuana paraphernalia located and seized.
9:04 a.m. – Caller reported a broken window, 4219 Main St., Ma’s Restaurant. Report taken.
5:54 p.m. – Steven Leroy Troite, 40, cited for failure to obey traffic control device, failure to renew registration and failure to carry proof of insurance in two-vehicle crash, 22nd and Main. Second driver was Michelle Kimberly Trevisiol, 22. No injuries.
10:57 p.m. – Lora Leigh Helvig-Massey, reported missing earlier, was located unharmed in Gresham.

2:18 a.m. – Caller reported finding a jacket in the lobby, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.
8:32 a.m. – Caller reported a male subject walking east in the 4600 block of Main waving around what appeared to be knives. Caller had reported the same subject two weeks earlier for jumping in front of cars. Officer contacted the subject, who had two metal objects. Officer asked him to refrain from waving them around.
9:17 a.m. – Caller reported her sister is missing. Last known whereabouts were at a Wells Fargo Bank in Portland. All other agencies are referring the caller to Sweet Home because her last known residence was in Sweet Home. Lora Leigh Helvig-Massey, 46, listed as a missing person. She was located in the Portland area later.
9:27 a.m. – Caller reported a dog constantly barking, 1100 block of First. Referred to code enforcement.
9:30 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle at location for more than a year, 1200 block of Sunset. Referred to code enforcement.

After negotiating an S-curve crossing over Brush Creek, she veered onto the northbound shoulder and off the elevated roadway where she drove through thick vegetation and into Brush Creek, approximately 10 to 12 feet below grade. The vehicle came to a stop on the passenger side, submerged in 18 inches of water.
