The Sweet Home Community Foundation presented its 2014 Alice Blaser Community Grant awards to local organizations on April 2.
Recipients included the following projects, which received a total of $10,140 in funds:
n Sweet Home School District, Huskies Basic Life Skills Recycling Program, $500. The program will place recycling receptacles and banners throughout Sweet Home High School. Members of the program will practice math skills while raising cash for activities.
