Mike Hardin would like to quell rumors around town Sunday that his missing brother, Mark Hardin, has been located.
Mark Hardin, 49, was reported missing on Aug. 7. Linn County deputies located his car in the Upper Calapooia area near Holley and searched around the 90 and 100 lines. They discontinued the major search effort on Aug. 14.
