Melany Glossa, district ranger with the Sweet Home Ranger District, Willamette National Forest, U.S. Forest, has accepted a new position, forest supervisor with the Hoosier National Forest in Indiana, and has resigned her position in Sweet Home.
Glossa had been district ranger since 2007.
Jennifer Lippert, a aWillamette National Forest botanist, will be acting district ranger beginning on Jan. 3.
