Barbara Faye Smith, 70, of Sweet Home died at her home on the evening of June 27, 2010.
She was born Sept. 6, 1939 in Mount Ulla, N.C. into a large family of 11 children and was raised in North Carolina.
She married Robert “Ross” Smith on March 11, 1963. The couple moved often with Mr. Smith’s military career. Later in life they settled in Washington, then Oregon.
