Former Sweet Home resident William D. “Bill” Walker, 82, of Montrose, Colo., died May 12, 2010.
He was born April 25, 1928 to Thomas V. and Rita J. (Chambers) Walker in Sligo, Mo. At a young age, his family moved to Oregon, and Mr. Walker grew up in the logging industry.
