The boys golf team tied with Taft for second in a Val-Co League tournament Tuesday, April 14, at Agate Beach.
Host Newport won the tournament with a 329 as all five of its golfers shot 92 or better behind individual medalist Ross Martin’s 73 and runner-up Tom Graves (80).
Sweet Home and Taft tied for second with 361 and Central was fourth with 394.
Travis Ramoz shot 81 to take third and lead the Huskies.…
