Chelsea Nicole Frick and Curtis Clay Norton Jr. have announced their engagement to marry on Oct. 7.
Frick is the daughter of Richard and Leree Frick of Sweet Home.
She is a 2001 graduate of Sweet Home High School and a 2003 graduate of Linn-Benton Community College.
She is employed by the city of Sweet Home.
Norton is the son of Curt Norton of Seal Rock and Julie Norton of Waldport.
He is a 2000 graduate of Waldport High School and a graduate of Northwest Lineman College in Meridian, Idaho.
He is employed by the Linn County Road Department.
