Linn-Benton Community College has established the Distinguished Alumnus award to honor LBCC alumni who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in their profession and/or through service to their community.
The LBCC Foundation is asking for nominations for this year’s award, due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29. Nominees must have:
Completed a minimum of 36 credits at LBCC; Made a significant contribution to LBCC, the community, the nation, or education over a period of time.
The public, LBCC faculty or staff, current students, or LBCC Board of Education members may submit nominations for the Distinguished Alumnus award.
An award committee comprised of LBCC President Rita Cavin and the LBCC Board of Education will select the recipient and the award will be presented at the June commencement.
