The Sweet Home City Council on Dec. 9 appointed Edith “Edie” Wilcox to the Planning Commission, filling a vacancy left by the resignation of Anay Hausner.
The council interviewed three candidates, including Wilcox, Dennis Dean and Todd Branson.
“Edith Wilcox, I liked her answers,” said Councilor Greg Mahler, adding that the other candidates were more vague.
