Linn County Undersheriff Bruce Riley announced last week that he is filing for the office of County Sheriff.
“I appreciate the opportunity to have served as Undersheriff for the last 4½ years under the leadership of Sheriff Tim Mueller,” Riley said in a statement. “I believe Sheriff Mueller has done an outstanding job representing the citizens of Linn County by continuing the long standing practice of delivering a full array of top-quality law enforcement services.”
