Sweet Home Charter school celebrated its sixth-grade graduation on Monday, June 3. This year’s class has the distinction of being the first class with students who started attending the school as kindergartners. Scott Richards, now SHCS principal, was this class’s kindergarten teacher. The students pictured at left are the ones who started at the school. They are, from left, Bradley Hilburn, Chase Boyd, Marissa Kurtz, Seth Johnson, Robbie Yunke, Kennedi Waldrop, Rebecca Jones and Annalee McIntosh. Scott Richards is behind the students: Principal Scott Richards. They were among a class of 25 graduating sixth-graders this year. The sixth-grade celebration was organized by Holly Davis, Shawna Yunke and Lisa Kurtz.
