SWEET HOME Police Chief Jeff Lynn swears in Jason Ogden, left, Monday as sergeant at the Sweet Home Police Department. The sergeant position was left vacant when Bob Burford retired as police chief and Lynn was promoted from sergeant to chief. Ogden has been with the department for more than 15 years and has worked as a detective with the Valley Interagency Narcotics Team and with the department for many of those years.
