The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting a free Family Fun Fishing Day at Sunnyside Park Pond from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday June 25.
Fishing poles will be available for loan, and tackle and bait will be provided to youths and their families. Volunteers will be on hand to assist kids with fishing as well.
Sunnyside Park is located seven miles east of Sweet Home on Quartzville Road.
