Zachary Jackson, 18, missed his graduation ceremony Friday evening after crashing his motorcycle on Upper Calapooia Drive.
He had been driving north on the Upper Calapooia when he hit a low spot and lost control, said Capt. Jeff Cone of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Jackson laid down the bike, a 1982 Honda 450.
He was wearing a helmet and heavy leather riding coat, Cone said.
