Doris Mouw, 90, a former Sweet Home resident, who lived in Costa Mesa, Calif., since 2008, died Aug. 15.
She was born Oct. 26, 1919 in Scranton, Iowa, along with a twin sister, Dorothy, who preceded her in death at age 65. The twins were raised in Scranton.
Mrs. Mouw was married to John Mouw for 50 years.
The couple moved to Aurora, Ill., shortly after they were married in 1938.
