The City of Sweet Home will use The Landing subdivision as a pilot rain garden, to demonstrate a new way of filtering and draining storm water.
Engineering Technician Dominic Valloni and Senior Engineering Technician Joe Graybill showed a proposal for the rain garden to the City Council’s Public Works Committee recently.
The Landing is located at the old Langmack Airport, between Long Street and Airport Road and 43rd and 49th avenues.
