The Sweet Home City Council approved a variety of requests for the Oregon Jamboree, which will be held from July 30 to Aug.1, during its regular meeting on June 13.
The Jamboree’s proposed setup will be different than in previous years, said Police Chief Bob Burford. Sankey Park will be used to host a new beer garden, a children’s play area and various vendor booths.
