Regulated use restrictions were in effect at the beginning of the month along the Quartzville Corridor and are scheduled to begin this week across the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Sweet Home Unit.
The regulated use restrictions are a little late this year for the district as a whole.
“The weather this spring was such that we’re not ready for regulated use,” said Wildland Fire Supervisor Jim Basting.
