Barbara Faye Smith, 71, of Sweet Home died June 27, 2010 at her home.
She was born June 6, 1939 and raised in Mount Ulla, N.C., into a large family of 11 children.
She married Robert “Ross” Smith on March 11, 1963. The couple moved often during Mr. Smith’s military career. Later in life they settled in Washington, then Oregon. In the late 1990s they came to in Sweet Home.
