Betty June Lane Moore, 84, died June 3, 2010 in Vancouver, Wash.
She was born Sept. 3, 1925 in Portland to Clifford and June Lane. She grew up in the Saint Johns area in Portland and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She attended Oregon College of Education and taught elementary school. She was an avid reader.
