Voters approved local option levies for the Sweet Home Public Library, Sweet Home Police Department and Linn County.
The approval included two tax rate increases, a 20-cent increase for the library and a 24-cent increase for the Sheriff’s Office.
The levies entirely fund the library and Police Department and partially fund Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Linn County Juvenile Department and the District Attorney’s office. All of them are temporary and must be renewed.
