Speed it up is the message Ted Carlin is sending, by slowing down €“ to a walk.
With his feet in the ocean near the Whaler Hotel in Newport, Carlin set out on foot May 4 for the Snake River in Ontario, a trip of approximately 456 miles.
He traveled through the Sweet Home and Cascadia area last week.
“Boy, the people in Sweet Home are sure nice, everybody on the way through,” Carlin said.
