The Sweet Home Police Department is looking for a man who robbed Safeway on Wednesday evening, Jan. 6.
At approximately 8:45 p.m., a male subject approached a Safeway employee and showed a note indicating a robbery, said Police Chief Bob Burford. He displayed a handgun.
“The person went in and approached a clerk at the customer service center near the front of the store,” Burford said. The handgun was tucked into his waistband.
