Sweet Home ended its regular water polo season Monday at South Albany in what Coach Craig Martin described as a “barn-burner” of a match.
The Huskies lost 10-9 in double overtime after finishing the fourth period tied 7-7 with the Rebels.
But because Sweet Home beat South Albany by four goals earlier this season, the Huskies will move on to the qualifying tournament for the state playoffs this weekend, again at South Albany.
