Nellie Nies, 92, went into the loving arms of Jesus Aug. 4, 2009 in Kingman, Ariz.
She was born on Aug. 13, 1916 in Carey, Idaho. She was the youngest of eight children. When she was young, the family moved to Oregon, where she spent her childhood.
In 1940, she married Robert R. Nies, and they had three children, two boys and a girl.
Early in their marriage, they left Oregon and moved to California.…
