The Huskies summer baseball team defeated Central 13-9 at home on Thursday.
“That game was actually not as close as it looked,” Coach Matt Matuszak said. The Huskies gave up five unearned runs in the first two innings. Going into the last inning, the Huskies were ahead 13-5.
Central scored four more in the top of seven, he said.
The Huskies were shaky early on, Matuszak said, but they got the game under control.
