NeVelle L. (Smith) Marshall, 101, of Sweet Home died June 26, 2009.
She was born in Betteravia, Calif., on Nov. 24, 1908. She graduated from Tillamook High School. She was a champion swimmer and diver as a youth.
She worked for Loma Linda Food Co., a Seventh Day Adventist Church in California and as executive secretary at Portland Adventist Hospital.
She married Ralph Marshall in 1936 in Stevenson, Wash. He preceded her in death.
