Sweet Home’s Farmers Market is back in business for 2009 on the east end of the Thriftway parking lot on Saturdays.
The market, which began last year, offers local produce, mushrooms, plants and some locally made products, such as goat soaps, cheeses and wool products. It is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through October.
Market Manager Jan Nielson said the emphasis this year will be primarily as local as possible.
