Arla Fern Stutzman, 92, died Feb. 17, 2009 in her residence in Brownsville.
She was born Aug. 18, 1916, in Woodriver, Neb., the sixth of seven children born to Abraham and Sarah Miller Stutzman.
She grew up among the corn fields and small farms of rural Nebraska and went to school and church in her home community. She met Willard Stutzman from a nearby community, and they married…
