Four seats on the Sweet Home City Council will be open in the upcoming Nov. 4 election.
The filing period for candidates is open through 5 p.m. on Aug. 29.
The seats open are those held by Jim Bean, Jim Gourley, Eric Markell and Rich Rowley.
Terms begin on Jan. 1. The three candidates receiving the most votes will fill four-year terms while the fourth-place candidate will serve a two-year term.
