The Sweet Home Concert Choir took first place March 17-18 during the Music in the Parks Festival in San Jose, Calif.
The choir, which was missing several members who were competing in the district track and field meet, received an “excellent” rating from judges and was only two points away from a “superior” rating, Director Matthew Clark reported.
The group competed in the Advanced Mixed Choir division.
