Trisha Stauffer, Jason Van Eck exchange vows

Trisha Beth Stauffer and Jason Van Eck were married at 7:27 p.m. on July 27 at the Community Chapel amphitheater.

Mrs. Van Eck is the daughter of David and Lynn Stauffer of Sweet Home. She is a secretary at Foster Elementary School.

Mr. Van Eck is the son of Richard Schirmer and Florence Walraven of Sweet Home and Ethan and Linda Van Eck of Seattle. He is a sergeant with Sweet Home Police Department.

Approximately 150 people attended the wedding, which was officiated by Pastor Mark McCartin.

Matron of honor was Marci Stauffer of Salem, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were a friend of the bride, Amanda Zurcher of Sweet Home, and a cousin of the bride, Tabetha Pope of Redding, Calif.

Flower girls were the bride’s daughter, Jada Autry; the groom’s daughter, Alana Van Eck; and the bride’s niece, Riley Stauffer. Ring bearer was the groom’s son, Colyn Van Eck.

Best man was Dave Barringer of Sweet Home. Ushers were Daniel Stauffer, the bride’s brother and a friend of the groom, and Sam Posthuma, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were David Stauffer, the bride’s brother and a friend of the groom, and Josh Marvin, a friend of the groom.

Taylor Conn, son of the bride, and David Stauffer, father of the bride, gave the bride away.

A reception followed at the Sweet Home Community Center.

The couple went to Lake Tahoe, Nev., for their honeymoon.
