Sweet Home firefighters extinguished an electrical fire at Little Promises Daycare at the old Pleasant Valley Kindergarten, 28028 Pleasant Valley Road on Friday.
Children were evacuated from the building, which the daycare center leases from School District No. 55.
Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the main electrical panel, which had overheated.
