Water pours out of Ames Creek into the South Santiam River Saturday as a result of rains that fell on Sweet Home nearly constantly from Wednesday through the weekend. A total of 5.17 inches of rain was reported by the U.S. Corps of Engineers at Foster Dam between Wednesday and Monday.
