Sweet Home Public Library is asking anyone who purchased bendable dog and cat toys this summer to return them.
The toys have been recalled because lead content in the toys exceeds the maximum allowed under federal regulations. Tests last fall had reported the toys were in compliance with regulations.
The library is asking the toys be returned in compliance with a recall by the manufacturer, Highsmith.
