Jon and Tawny Sportsman of Sweet Home announced the engagement of their daughter, Katherine (Katie) Sportsman, to Matthew Hanson, the son of Doug and Dru Hanson of Ketchikan, Alaska.
A June 11 wedding is planned in Camas, Wash.
Sportsman is a 2005 graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in business administration and political science with honors.
