Sweet Home resident Nicole Hampton has accepted a two-year assignment with the Peace Corps to serve as a health education volunteer in Turkmenistan.
She is the daughter of Bill and Chris Hampton of Sweet Home.
In her assignment, Hampton will work with host country nationals to help increase the knowledge and skills of health care professionals in Turkmenistan, educate communities on healthy behaviors and provide support for local and national health care organizations. She leaves…
