Sweet Home Municipal Court issued a warrant for Michael Riggle, former Sweet Home Senior Center manager, for failure to comply.
Riggle was convicted on two counts of second-degree theft for using Senior Center money to pay his Comcast and Pacific Power bills.
He was sentenced to three years probation; 10 days of compensatory service; and to pay $825.10, including $365.10 in restitution.
Sweet Home Municipal Court sent Riggle a ?show cause? letter, Clerk Donna Poirier said. The letter gave him an opportunity to explain why he had not complied. The certified letter was returned.
Riggle served none of his 10 days compensatory service. He was placed at the Gleaners, Poirier said. He wanted to work elsewhere, so he was placed at the Oregon Dream Center, but he did not serve any time.
Riggle also has not paid any of his fine or restitution. The first payment was due on June 10.
Riggle also is required to keep the court informed as to his address. With the returned letter, he is out of compliance with his probation.
He has reportedly moved to California, Poirier said.
During his sentencing on May 6, Riggle told Judge Larry Houchin he planned to move to California and asked for consideration of his plans in the sentencing. Judge Houchin informed he would need to ask for the court?s permission before moving.
The warrant for Riggle arrest will remain active indefinitely, Poirier said.
