Joan Pappin, School District 55 Department of Human Services coordinator, wanted to extend her thanks to Ben Dahlenburg, high school woodshop instructor, and his class for building the wooden houses for this summer’s Safety Town.
The students spent many hours creating four miniature buildings complete with removable roofs. They also cut out and mounted 16 traffic signals for the town.
