An anticipated rain storm Wednesday morning turned into an unanticipated snow storm throughout Eastern Linn county.Snow started falling about 1 p.m. and remained throughout the night, clearing by Tuesday morning. Local schools ran on schedule. The snow storm also hit the Portland area and thousands of homes were without electrical power for several hours Wednesday.
