A group of musicians spent Sunday afternoon at the VFW Hall raising money to help bring a multiple sclerosis victim home from Arizona.
Among the entertainers were veteran guitar player Buster “B” Jones of Monroe and formerly of Nashville.
“The essence of what they’re doing here is so fantastic,” Jones said. “This woman just wants to come home to die. Money’s just paper. We can get more. She can’t get more days.”
