Mr. and Mrs. Rob Poirier of Sweet Home and Mike Grabeel of Alabama are announcing the engagement of their son, Nick Grabeel, to Athena Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Myers of Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Grabeel is serving in the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst at Camp Hovey, Korea. He is a 2000 graduate of Sweet Home High School.
Myers is a 2000 graduate of Buean High School in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and is attending the University of Arizona.
A wedding date of Jan. 2 has been set in Tucson, Ariz.
