Bill and Retha Swegar will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Aug. 16.
Their children will host an informal open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Foster Lake Campground Hall, 6191 Highway 20.
The couple’s children include Ruth Peterson, Sue Freeman, Mark Swegar, Beth Wheeler and Kathy Swegar.
Mr. Swegar is a retired Sweet Home High School teacher and pupil personnel director. Mrs. Swegar is a retired elementary teacher.
Te couple would like to invite former teachers and friends.
