Oregon Jamboree Event manager Peter LaPonte is anticipating a record crowd Friday night for Alan Jackson.
“I think we’re breaking new ground,” LaPonte said. Maximum capacity for the Jamboree grounds is about 9,000 tickets. As of Monday, the Jamboree had sold 8,467 tickets, including one-day and three-day tickets. Considering staffing levels of about 500 persons, LaPonte believes the Aug. 1 Alan Jackson show has only 300 to 400 tickets remaining.
