Sweet Home Paramedic Jake Thompson will go to work Friday for the Redmond Fire Department as a paramedic-firefighter.
The 12-year veteran of the Sweet Home Fire Department worked his last day here on July 23.
Thompson started working as a volunteer for Sweet Home in 1991. He was hired full time in 1997. Thompson was born and reared in Sweet Home. He is a 1991 graduate of Sweet Home High School.
