Foster Postmaster Kristi Bowman recently went to work at Foster Post Office following a special assignment in Portland that has kept her away for about a year.
She started work at Foster in May. Technically, she has been postmaster since April 2002, succeeding retiring Postmaster Donna Price.
Bowman, who lives in Salem, plans to relocate to the Sweet Home area later.
